I'd bought the right couch, I had all the right lighting. I had an interesting and endless assortment of unique, decorative objects. So why did my flat still feel incomplete? Why wasn't it speaking?

I realised it was missing what I wanted, but what always seemed so inaccessible - the right artwork.
